I know you can save some money at Wal-Mart, but it is a store of last resort for me. I understand competition, etc. and that Wal-Mart serves a purpose, but their buying power has knocked most mom/pop hardware stores where you could actually receive some service and advice out of business.
I would actually rather pay a slight bit more to actually support a store with good service and advice. However, that is just me, and I understand for many money is very tight and has to be the primary consideration

Seemed like a very nice kid. Had on an Auburn sweatshirt. My wife asked him if he attends Auburn and that started the conversation. She told him we were from Alabama, and he asked us if we were "Auburn or Tide fans." When we told him Alabama, he just said that we had to have been excited about our year. He was very respectful. We wished him luck.
Nothing else to report really; just thought it was worth mentioning.
