I was thinking about that last night....how different would all of this have turned out if the Big 12 actually would have had a championship game with divisions. How was that right that they had an extra week to schedule regular season games?

I'll swap a Heisman for a BCS National Champ Game anytime......though I really thought Trent deserved it playing against SEC competition. Ironically, not having a Big 12 champ game may have hurt osu this year. If they had played a top 10 ranked ( and overrated)Kansas St. team in the champ game and won,it could have easily vaulted osu over Bama with the pollsters.The final voting was that close. WHEW.........

You are right about the Big 12 this year. Very weak. The battle of kickers just might be real intense this fall. This will be very good.

Nice job TR--concise and to the point--excellent summary of Big 12/8 season--all we want is another crystal fb and Trent will ALWAYS be remembered as a Heisman worthy recipient to us just as Namath and Musso should have been.
