We could say that RB has been Coach Saban's best recruited position on offense during his entire College career. He has had several good ones and many NFL players come through his programs. Maybe the only positions that could equal the RB recruits are linemen and LB's?

That would be interesting to see what positions have excelled the most from his teams.

With Lacy waiting for his shot and Fowler, Yeldon, Hart and Drake there are several more stud RB candidates. When I think about the possibilities of what Tyren Jones and Altee Tennpenny bring to the table, I can see this list being expanded. Honestly, the number of top shelf backs coming through Bama these days is ridiculous.....in a good way.

grant started most of a season and was a backup for a couple others. id say thats on par with upchurch and far superior to fowler at this point

It has been enjoyable watching these three over the last few years..........I thnk we have some thrills ahead of us...........with the stable of young men waiting for their turn to hit the field.........and with the big guys in the trenches........this is going to be some "fun" times..........thanks Travis........it would be interesting to see how they stack up with........Johnny Musso; Mike Fraccia; Cotton Clark, etc.......RTR

seemed like he had a few big games that year including a solid game against uga before the season derailed

gotta be TJ Duckett from MSU in my opinion...guy was a beast who put up tons of yards, was all-conference and (I think) was a 1st round draft choice back in 2003 or 04.

Addai would be right behid him IMO.

Those two would be good choices. Alley Broussard had as much potential as any back Saban has coached.
