One of our own- an over the top, Roll Tide til I die Bama fan and friend to many of us, is in need of an assist. Single mom, working two jobs and doing all the right things a hard working American can to keep things on the level has been diagnosed with cancer. Its a huge financial burden, and we're going to step it up to help her.

(Admit it- you've got nothing else to do this Saturday!)

We're putting together a benefit to try and raise money for BamaDAWG (Jami)'s mom's medical treatment. Every last penny raised is going to the medical fund- no one involved is getting paid. Even if you don't donate, this is a cool opportunity to come out and talk Bama football, bid on some interesting Bama autographed memorabilia and mingle with other Bama fans. Here are the details:

When: Saturday, June 23 from 10am until 6pm
Where: Oak Mountain State Park at the Honeysuckle pavilion. There will be signs indicating where the BamsRadio tent will be set up. (Should be hard to miss.)
What: BBQ provided by Brother Zeke's BBQ, live band with music from After 2 Glasses and auctions of footballs and magazines autographed by Roman Harper, Marcel Dareus, Marquis Maze and others.
