The perception of successful recruiting classes the past few years might be the ultimate and final nail in not only chizik's, but the barn's coffin. Any rival schools recruiting the current batch of future stars can easily point out that all of these highly recruited players go to the barn and disappear. In the day and age where playing in the NFL is the number one motivater for most of these kids, and who can blame them, why would any high caliber recruit go to Auburn to become irrelevant. You could come up with a list a mile long of guys that have come in the past couple of years highly touted and never made any impact, got kicked off the team, or wound up in jail. I've never seen anything like it. Look for a mass exodus of current commits as the barn continues to unravel, especially if trooper and looper aren't retained.
