Thanks. It's about time to invest in the baseball program.

All of the other sports programs thrive/die with the football revenue generated. Well seeing how we are bringing in boat loads of dollars right now and donations and advertising dollars are about the highest they have ever been, the university needs to make this happen if they want to continue to be relevant in Baseball. We are falling behind in recruiting and facilites because of the facilities themselves. Its time to process our baseball program and give them what they need to thrive.

I don't think continuing to be relevant is the goal anymore. I think becoming relevant again is the challenge now. We've allowed this program to slip so far, I can't even begin to imagine what it will take to get back to even being thought of as a dark horse in the division, much less a relevant program.

The University will be happy to build a new stadium once it becomes difficult to buy a ticket, like in the ‘90’s. If building a new stadium was a determinate in winning championships, our softball and tennis teams would have a case full of trophies.

Nice facilities are prerequisites for competing for titles. Having them doesn't guarantee titles, but not having them all but guarantees you won't win them. No one wants to play in a dump unless they don't have any better offers.
