The Texas HC job

will come open likely over the next week or so. I am not sure the Texas admin will give Mack the time to even think about stepping down. CNS name is atop their list for sure. This is not a job for CNS. UT has way too many people who want to control the coach and have him answer to them. Les Miles however, might be just their kind of guy.

Mack isn't getting fired there, and you are crazy if you actually believe that he will be. The only way he is leaving this year, is if he retires.

He is 2 years removed from a national championship game and has a very young team.
I do'nt see that happening.

Where did this "insider" info originate? Source? Even if true, it's going to be someone the powers at UT can control. It won't be a coach who is strong enough to demand that he will make the decisions with the AD--not the old boy alums and the BOTs. That may be someone like CLM, Patteron, Peterson, or even Muschamp, but it's definitely not CNS!

HT has brought a ton of great info to this board of the last SEVERAL years....
Everyone gets bad info from time to time and it gives YOU NO reason to constantly bash him...I do not understand what the problem is with him???
WE are ALL BAMA fans if you have forgotten..HT was just making a point and right out the gate you guys hammer him, absolutely pitiful!!!!
Go ahead and flame me ALLLL you want, it does not bother me a bit..
I am out of the country on a constant basis and do not get to stay on BOL 24 hours a day like some of you do...I just know that HT has brought a ton of info over the last several years and since the change to 247 sports he has gotten the shaft...
