I am talking about recent years when they have spent more money on their payroll that any other MLB team. I know the Yankees have won many titles. However, with the talent that they have had on their team as of late, then they should have had many more.

Ive heard that arguement before. So you only root for teams with a rich tradition?

There are a lot of teams with rich traditions: st Louis cardinals, Pittsburg steelers, Dallas cowboys, ny giants, Boston celtics, la lakers , etc. do you root for all of them too?

If you grew up in the northeast that's one thing, but I just don't get all these people that grew up in the south rooting for the Yankees.

My god, did u just ask how many they've won in the past 15 yrs? 2011 was the last world series. So 96 would be 15 world series ago. They've won 5 out of 15. 1/3rd. Please keep making more dumb comments. It's fun
