is getting better in the base defense. Bama plays so much Nickel and Dime, because there are so many spread offenses on the schedule. Because of that, A team that plays I formation with a true full back becomes a bit of a new thing for our guys. Also, Bama's base defense does not include CJ Mosely.Nico and Trey dont play the pass as well as CJ.
Looking at the remaining regular season schedule, Only Auburn plays that style. The big test, and I said this before and everyone called me crazy, will be Georgia. They have a big back and they play a ton of I formation. ....I

Yes Murray is better then Mett overall, but Im not buying he would hit many of the small windows that Mett was hitting. That throw late in the game over Belue, really. They run that 10 more times this year and dont hit it with that tight of coverage. I think this game is being way over analyzed, any team that is in the zone and hitting on so many 3rd and longs will create issues. Ill go with what has been more typical not LSU's best game and a QB that had the game of his life that will most likley never be seen again.
Yea, UGA does run more O that we are in Base D but the LSU FB was having a great game and gave us some fits as well, UGA cant dupe that either

I agree about them being in the zone, it was crazy. If another team comes along and makes those kinds of throws and catches in tight windows against good coverage, with the rush a half step away from caving in the QB's rib cage, I'll tip my hat to them and they'll have a good shot to beat us.
I don't see it happening though. If that's what you have to do to "expose" our D, we are in good shape.
