No we didn't. & I really didn't like the way LSU & UGA ran against us overall. We really got fortunate to have a solid an offense that we did last year imo. & it might need to be at least equal to that this season as well.

I'd love to hear how Nudie looks. Hoping he can get back to his dominant self soon. I think with us breaking in a new RT and TE, Nudie may be one of the big keys for us in shoring up blocking from the H-back/Fullback position. Love to watch that dude tote the rock and pulverize DB's too... good stuff. One of my favorite players.

TR - may not be able to pick up on this in limited viewing, but who are the vocal leaders now that Nico, Fluker, Barrett Jones are gone? Who are the guys (outside of AJ) that are the guys getting onto people or motivating the younger guys? I know Moseley would be a candidate, but he's more of a let my play do my talking type player.... We need another DJ to yell at the guys in the huddle in the 3rd quarter down 11 in the SEC championship - per se.

To your point and rolBamaballs'...I agree we didn't appear to be as effective stopping the run and there was some drop off no doubt, but the prior year the fact the secondary was essentially a no fly zone for opposing teams gave us an edge in the run game IMO. Teams could not throw on us, knew they couldn't and many times didn't try or abandoned the effort.

Great list Travis. Other the one's featured on the board, curious if Kenyan Drake looks more physical. He appeared a samwich away from really being dangerous last season.

Yep, thought about him after I posted the list. If he's filled out some, he could be a real factor at the top of the rotation.

Fowler's moving pretty well. Was told he was probably about 15 pounds above his playing weight and I'd say that's probably right.

Tana reminds me of Alex Watkins from a couple of years ago. He won't start most likely but will be in the rotation, play special teams and provide leadership. The line on Cristobal was hilarious BTW.

Travis - I've said several times on here that I think Dakota Ball would benefit greatly from a move to OG or C. Frankly, I'm a little worried about Kelly. Seems and looks a little light. I think Barrett Jones was the best lineman to ever come through here, and even he struggled with great noses from time to time.
I think Ball is a tougher, more physical lineman than Kelly. Just an opinion. So anyway ... he staying put for now?
