It didn't happen the way it was written by the AJC guy. He was told straight up that we were being very selective in who we take this year. If the offer was there from us he had better take advantage of it quickly. At that point he was asked if we offered him would he commit???? More of a gauge on his interest level. I think the writer made sure to spin it in such a way to paint a bad light on CNS. Knowing the recruit was going to UGA anyway.
