And I don't try to read too much into kid's quotes like some on here that say a player is scared to compete. However this article made me laugh. RN is likely going to be very good, but he is screwing up mentally if you ask me. Make your own decision instead of trying to get your entire high school to come play with you. Do what is best for you whether that be Clemson or LSU or any other school. He is doing a disservice to Dabo here if you ask me. Of course Dabo should only give an offer to those guys he thinks can play in D-1.

Really I am in shock over some of these quotes and the immaturity about this whole process.

Will they all pitch in for Dabo's buyout when he gets canned in 2014? This is so stupid, it's laughable. I don't care what kids or their families read this board. When you see dumb, you just call it out. This is dumb on all parts and the way this kid has manipulated Dabo makes me embarrassed to even associate Dabo with Bama. This is without a doubt some BS that the Barn would pull and that makes it even more pathetic. Dabo needs to grow a set and build his program the right way instead of pissing away schollies for a kid that could have a career ending injury before he ever makes it on campus. Dumb Dumb Dumb.....Thank God we have Coach Saban.

Whatever works for them. Do you really think Dabo is worried about setting a precedent? Let's be honest, how often does Clemson sign the top prospects? I know they had a huge class a couple years ago, but how often do you think Clemson will be in the running for the top prospect? If this is what they've got to do, then I'm sure they think it's worth it. There's no need to rip the kids, or Dabo. They're all doing what they think is best.

Quite frankly, I think Nkemdiche's behavior is a little more selfless than most recruits in his position, who mostly say, "I'm doing what is best for ME." Clemson is not a powerhouse, they don't have a storied past, their last ACC Championship was 20 years ago, and their last National Championship was 30 years ago. Nkemdiche could be more worried about that, or where would be the best place for him to get in the NFL. But he's more concerned about helping his friends. Let's not let our disappointment turn into undeserved criticism.

1 kid isn't worth four scholarships. If these kids don't produce then you are placing the entire program in jeopardy. How embarrassing is it for Ryan Carter? How mediocre must he be if the best player in the country is dragging his +1 around every where and no one wants to waste a scholarship on him. So now they are reduced to begging through the media to get his friend a scholarship that he apparently he can't earn on his own. Seriously man, this is getting ridiculous. Believe me, if Carter were anywhere near a half decent player, he would have a million scholarship offers because of his agent Nkemdiche. Now, even if the kid gets any scholarship offers, it is going to look he didn't earn it.

Another great question was posed earlier. Will he start leveraging a transfer of these guys don't get playing time next year? What about the Nick Schuesler kid? He is a walk on right now. What if Dabo refuses to offer the kid a scholarship? Will Nkemdiche threaten to transfer? Where does it stop? Dabo is looking like a fool right now. The icing on the cake will be Mickey Conn joining the staff next year as part of the package deal. I know that they were college roommates and all of that. However, he has always been Dabo's close friend. So, why didn't he get a job offer before he had the number one recruit in the country on his team? All the sudden he is ready to be a college head coach now? Or is he part of the package deal?

Good job Dabo! Way to make Clemson look like a clown show. Everyone is going to laugh when they have to turn down a legitimate D1 prospect because they don't have any scholarships left because they signed Nkemdiche and the seven dwarfs.

The funniest part of all of this is that he says it's going to take one more player to be a lock. As if the first three weren't enough? So it's not a lock if they don't offer this kid? Is he going to change his mind and go to Ole Miss if they don't and leave his friends behind? Will Ole Miss then have to offer the other three kids? Like many said earlier this is just becoming a joke.
