Chavis Williams shows me that if you stay with Saban, even if you don't have that elite talent, in the end it will pay off. He was a player that now wouldn't probably be on our radar because of the elite talent we are bringing in. But since he was part of that first class he was able to sign and play. He probably could have played at other schools, and after we started bringing in all the talent at linebacker, he stayed and stuck with the system. Although he started some games his senior year, he was never a starter for us but yet where is he today... On the roster of the Baltimore Ravens. He is an outstanding young man, and he gave the Tide 100% effort and don't think that Coach Saban was not a part in getting him a shot in the NFL. I think he is a prime example of if you give all you have, whether it is 3* talent or 5* talent, and do it Coach Saban's way then he will help you anyway he can. Plus the fact that being under his program for 4 years will make you a better player and more prepared than basically any other university.
