Thoughts on the East Upper Deck at BDS

  • Thanks for all the input everyone. I went ahead with it and got 4, 2 of which I will probably offer to sell to someone on a yearly, recurring basis. The seats are U4PP Row 21, seats 7-8. If anyone on here is interested, shoot me a PM and let me know what you would be willing to pay for them? I'm not looking to profit on them, but would like to recover some of my donation.

    Remember that whatever you pay in excess of face value is considered a donation and is tax deductible. Unless you are not the primary purchaser. For instance two parties can't claim the deduction.

    same here....the elevators are great and if you are in the deck then you can use them....take the tickets!!!! .....you will be glad....get in the door and then move to where you can....you will have a better change to get the seats you want if you are already in the tide pride........RTR

    You are going to have crap seats, but get yourself in the door. That is the most important thing. This also allows you to start earning Tide Total points which is what bowl tickets and away games are based upon. Sooner you start earning those and the sooner you can get cheap tickets to those games. (of course some of the away games will be years away from attaining)

  • Have had seats in FF for 5 years and love them. You own sunglasses? Wear em and enjoy. DO NOT pass on season tix!

  • I would sit anywhere in BDS if I had the opportunity to have season tickets, sun or no sun. I've sat there many times and it's no problem. If you come to BDS in September and expect to stay cool then I advise you to stay home.

    I'm pretty sure the "list" is just an excuse. Fact is if you pay the money you can get season tickets. Unfortunately, people bypass the "list" every year. Everything comes at a price and they will even tell you what the number is to get you in the stadium. They will also tell you the number your donation needs to be to move from east upper to west upper, or lower bowl, etc.
