BOL Round Table

Hey Guys , I put on here the other day i would be posting any info i got for PRE CAMP, I talk to my buddy who will be BIG for us on offense this season and tried to pick his brain on anything i could think of and asked him to share anything he had for me.

* Offensive Line- He probably bragged on our offensive line unit more than any other, He said our offensive line unit WILL BE the best our program has EVER had hands down and THE BEST in the country. Said AJ or the stable of running backs will have nothing to worry about. Said the line is so close to each other and are pretty much like a big group of family. Always together and are taking pride in there unit like our defense had last year. That " Swagger " to them.

*As far as QB he said AJ has made leaps and bounds from last season, Which you could see happening throughout last season. He said the BIG turning point for AJ in his opinion where he made that next step into more of a leader came in the Tennessee game last season, There was a diffrent view of him from the teams standpoint after that game, which carried over the rest of the season to a National Championship. He said the team has full trust and confidence and that AJ is PURE confidence and swagger. Also said the team loves the excitement and attitude he plays with.

*He said the running back battle is some of the best he has seen. Said Eddie is the man to beat, BUT T.J. Yeldon is a "MONSTER" and WILL BE huge for us this season, just as much as eddie. He said he cant wait to see how much this guy does for the team this season. He will be a big difference maker. Said Jalston is sitting in the third spot and will also contribute. But he said he wouldnt be suprised if Yeldon plays a ton. You cant keep his talent off the field. As we know Saban plays the best.

* He said the receiving core this years is in one word. EXPLOSIVE. He said the depth we have as far as talent is off the charts and we will be seeing multiple names on and off the field come the season. We will be able to keep everyone fresh, because our talent in depth IS THAT GOOD. I asked who he thinks will be standing out this upcoming season and he said C. Jones, NORWOOOD, Kenny Bell have impressed big. He also said watch out big for some freshmen favorites Amari Cooper and Eddie Williams, He said Cooper is so mature as a receiver for being so young he said the guy is all buisness and said Eddie williams talent and size are going to be hard to not have on the field. Gave the receiving core a lot of praise. Also said we ill see more deep throws this season, They have a lot more confidence in AJ in his coming second year way more than they did in Greg his second year. Said they wouldnt hesitate to air it out more as far as deep shots. Our speed will kill this season.

*Said the defensive line unit this season is going to be STOUT. Said Jessie Williams is an absolute FREAK and look for him to have a big season as Marcel did his final season at Alabama. His stock will be on the rise. Said Damion square has really stepped up and took on more of the leadership role and and the coaching staff has taken notice. He is for sure a coach favorite.

*He also said in his opinion the break out stud on defense this year will be Vinnie sunseri, he said the guy eats,drinks, and sleeps the game of football. Said the guy has NO FEAR. He is also like a human playbook, He just " GETS IT " . He said he reminds him a lot of Mark Barron as far as the knowledge for coverages and seeing plays before they happen.

Thats all i could get i spoke to him for only about 20 minutes. But the players are ready for camp and so am I. Tomorrow is the day. ROLL TIDE ROLL.
