Tonight's b'ball game is going to be an uphill battle...

I have heard that it's likely J. Green will NOT play tonight due to an injury he's been battling. With that in mind, I am anxious to see how the team performs tonight considering that our worst basketball has been played with Green on the bench this year. I like what Nick Jacobs is doing off the bench, but without Green we lack that dominant scoring threat in the paint that is so critical when the game is on the line and we have to get points.
Maybe the situation will improve and Green will be able to fight through this, but as of last night the word is that he won't play.
I am hoping we can get things turned around, but I have to admit I am pretty nervous considering we seem to have lost our confidence right now and our best player most likely won't be suiting up tonight!

I think Jacobs can fill in well enough to win IF he stays out of foul trouble.

That coupled with Releford's injury. Not looking good.
I know Green has had problems with his elbow, but it hasn't bee noticeable the past few games.

No kidding...I have not heard that Releford's injury will keep him out, but it definitely isn't promising.
Here's hoping I am wrong or the situation gets better fast, but I have a source who gets his info from the team and is usually reliable.
Who knows, maybe this is the opportunity the team needs to pull it together and get a spark. I just hope we don't continue the progression backwards!

Jacobs has been a nice surprise. He is a legit threat to score. He is what we all hoped Coleman, Knox, Hines, etc all would be. He doesn't flail around like a retard when he gets the ball

Bearyant - that is the sentiment I am hearing too from others who know what makes a basketball team run. It seems that one "attitude" has become contagious and negatively affected others who were previously on the right track.

I have noticed this too and this is really sad considering the potential he has if he would just leave the attitude at home and play ball. Kid is really a stud but it seems like he brought an attitude with him this season that I never noticed last year.
