Not reported anywhere, but he told our staff yesterday he plans on committing to Alabama per a HS coach I know. Keep in mind, this is SPHS in Mississippi.......so even if this is 100% true, I'll have my doubts until I see the fax come in.

Maybe he is asking himself..."new tires or national championships?" or "is it better to play in something called an egg bowl or is it better to play in something called an iron bowl?"
By the way, if you have never seen it, check out how Ole Miss beat Miss State in 1983...It is called, "the immaculate deflection" due to the untimely (or timely depending on perspective) gust of wind that kept a field goal from going through the uprights...

He is on an OV to MSU this weekend, but I doubt they sway him.
Conner wants to come to Bama and his High School coach is at odds with ole mess and it has been said he is even guiding him to Bama, but there is surely a lot of pressure for him to stay in state. That being said, I think that is why he postponed his announcement at the US Army game... I believe he will announce for and send in his fax to UA on NSD.
