Tony Conner... Can't be afraid of a loaded secondary

  • Eddie Williams is more than likely gone... Now there is less competition at Safety... You never know what's gonna happen... It's been less than a week and he could have signed with the place he really wanted to play

    Poor poor choices from these guys. Still shocked with Eddie Williams.

  • We are loaded at safety which explains why a 5 star in William was 3rd string. Nick Perry, Jarick Williams, Sunseri, HaHa, and big bad Landon Collins will be fine.

    For the type of playmakers and the consequences of making mistakes, I wouldn't say we are loaded at safety. Vinnie is decent but was beat many times and Nick Perry made some mistakes. Jarrick is an unknown quantity at this point. If Landon has picked up the defense then I'll be confident that our safeties won't be such a liability. Again, only if Landon has picked up the defense.

    I agree. We played up to 4 safeties at a time in some formations last year. We are one or two injuries away from being paper thin. This is exactly why I wanted Conner in this class.

    Dang a down vote?? Landon and HaHa are extremely talented. I love Vinnie but his coverage is suspect as well as Perry. We don't really know with Jarrick yet... So I would say with Williams out now if I'm as talented as Conner then I have a good chance to compete.

    My whole point was you never know what's gonna happen. Just like Fowler and Dee getting hurt last year. Hightower and Square both got hurt unexpectedly. You never really know what is gonna happen, but if you want to win Championships like he said then Ole Miss is not even in the question.

    It seems as though we have more players at safety designed to stop teams like LsU and ga. aTm requires a different skill set entirely. JMHO on our safety sittiation.

    Eddie Jackson fits the bill.

    He didn't go to OM because he is scared of our depth, or competition! He wanted to come to Bama, and if it was 100% his decision he would be at Bama, but his mom wanted him at OM, he comes from south panola which is an OM pipeline and in OM's backyard, and he alot of pressure to stay instate! Very uniformed statement by you!
