in no specific order................Rashad Johnson, Derrick Thomas, Javy, Musso, Cody.
Musso was my hero growing up. DT because he was off the charts great! RJ & Javy because they left it all on the field and were both astronomical over achievers. and Cody made me watch the D-line instead of the ball carrier. also I automatically love any kid who comes from out of state to wear the Crimson. ROLL TIDE.

1) Derrick Thomas-Best College Defensive Player of All Time in my opinion
2) Javy Arenas-not highly recruited, but proved all the doubters wrong and was huge part on national championship team
3) Bobby Humphrey-was the first dynamic player on offense I remember watching when I started watching Bama football
4) Mark Ingram-Heisman
5) Demeco Ryans-heart and soul of great '05 defense
So many others. Really hard to choose. TRich, Palmer, Curry, Copeland, Sam Shade, George Teague, Barrett Jones, Langham, McElroy, McCarron, Cornelius Bennett, Mark Anderson, Prothro, Lamonde Russell, Kevin Turner, Leron McClain, Wesley Britt, Evan Mathis, Julio,....I could go on forever, but I have to get back to work.

Any list without Derrick Thomas #1 needs to be revisited.. That guy was BY FAR the best college player we have ever had... arguably of all time. Sure, you can name some old 5'10 175lb white dude that ran and threw in the 40's against other slow players.. But DT played in the modern era and was COMPLETELY unstoppable.
Seriously - if we had him on our team right now the score to games would be 100-0 EVERY TIME.. and I am not even kidding. He was that good.
