This has nothing to do with it being Alabama's coach and everything to do with Texas being a bully. BUT, if they were to offer any coach $10 million per year, then I hope every FBS team outside of the armed forces will refuse to schedule them. Texas has rubbed alot of people the wrong way and that would send it over the top. I do however expect them to go after CSN with a very generous offer. I would do the same thing if I were them.

I just heard it on the news and the sports guy said he doesn't think CNS will ever leave Bama but 10 mil a year is a lot...Please don't shoot the messenger......RTR

That seems like a very weak list of candidates.

And they say Sumlin is probably going to accept the Illinois job.

Then its John Longshore. He is a Bama fan but when I hear him these days it seems like living in Barner country has taken its toll on him. He reports a lot of false Bama rumors pandering to the Montgomery audiences.

I can't say anything negative about him though as he lost his wife back in the early 2000's. Super sad.

And with Sumlin flirting with Illinois it is starting to look like everything is falling in to place for Smart.

I hope they are as committed to being successful as he is going to be.
