UA vs AU with 5* recruits, tell me

  • Its not possible that they could end up with more 5* recruits than us. Before u bash me, I have total faith in our recruiting, work ethic, player development and so on, but just what in the world can they be selling over there? Yes, they are dirty, no doubt, but still, what is appealing over there? It just seems odd the number of top prospects that just change their mind at last minute. One thing is for sure, their approach is a sit back and wait to see who is recruiting who, then they start with their negative and brain washing tactics, along with $..... Is Louder still running their program? If not who?, Who holds the purse strings and is in control of that dirty recruiting machine? I hate those cheaters!!! I want to really beat them worse this year than last. Im sick of them being able to recruit good players with dirty and shady tactics. Hell, its the only way they can get players, I mean really, does a kid expect to be developed for the next level over there? What a joke. Once they got away with Cam it just opened the flood gates because they know exactly what they can get away with. Its sickening to me. Am I the only one who feels like this? And I do think we will pound them on the field, but you have to admit, those jerks are doing any and everything to try and keep up with us in recruiting. Pisses me off!!!! Sorry for the rant.

  • 1. Recruiting completely changes as soon as the season starts
    2. Barn will most likely be 6-7 this year or worse
    3. Long time till February
    4. Could have all the talent in the world, still need the staff and preparation to reach their potential.
    5. Elephant seals having intercourse > barn football

  • thank you for posting this,ive been wanton to say what u jus said .money money money its the only way man they get more 5 stars than anyone in the counrty,for what a team that went 8-5-won i title in 54 yrs..go back and look at how many 5 stars they have gotten in jus the last 3 yrs.

    They've had a top 5 recruiting class for the past 3 years, but we've still owned them 3 out of the past 4 years. And the one time we lost by one point, it gave us the motivation for the 2011 national championship run.

    Im not on the ledge, nor am I worried about them. Our program is light years ahead of theirs!!!, thats what confuses me, how in the world can they keep up with us in recruiting? They have to be pissing off other schools than just us. Im just gonna come out and say it, there must be $ involved and other incentives and if you dont think that then pigs can fly!!!, Their whole recruiting machine smells of cow crap and $$$$$ , thats just how I feel until someone can prove to me that they run a clean program!!!, ha. Again, im not on the ledge, its a message board and sorry, but I pay attention to who they recruit because they are are biggest RIVAL!!!

    Auburn hasn't had a top 5 recruiting class 3 years in a row according to this site and rivals.

    I'll be honest with you, I think Lawson and Dee Liner are a tad bit overrated. Dee is very good, but I'm not quite sure he's a 5 star sure thing. Lawson doesn't have the measureables. He's a little short IYAM, and he's good in camp, but doesn't dominate games the way a true 5 star would. Both are very good prospects who I would be happy to have, but neither are locks to be first rounders. I wouldn't say either is a true 5 star. Foster is a true 5 star though (athletically speaking), so they've got one.

    Remember this, most services thought Christian Westerman was a 5 star franchise left tackle, and he's struggling to make it as a guard at Auburn. He's only like 6'3".lol
