UGA Fan buddy assertion re: Greyshirts

Buddy in the office claims that nobody that CNS gave a greyshirt to has ever played a meaningful snap at Alabama....gotta admit I don't know who all we have had as a GS, can anybody offer up examples to refute?

I think, if memory serves, that Harrison Jones was a greyshirt at least initiallly. Then when Alfy Hill didn't qualify Harrison got that spot.

Every team has players that don't play, but that doesn't mean they don't contribute mightily to the program. Not only that, they get a free education, except for the first semester, and they get to travel like kings, be a big part of championships, and the women adore them!
