I really don't know what to expect from UGA. They've looked dominant and hapless at different times in the season. They do seem to fold in big games against top teams, so that's encouraging I suppose. Another thing that makes me feel better is that the two times we were pushed this year, the other team played a nearly flawless game (no turnovers, superb QB play, we made uncharacteristic turnovers and mistakes). And even with strong teams playing a nearly perfect game against us, we very easily could have won both of them.

Take Oregon tonight as a contrast. Stanford played far from a flawless game. They made critical mistakes (turnovers) and missed numerous scoring opportunities throughout the game. Still, they pulled off the upset. Baylor made one of the dumbest mistakes I've ever seen in college football to give KState a TD but still won by 28. I guess I'm saying that if you want to beat Alabama, you better play a damn near perfect game and your QB better set it on fire. I don't think that's true for any other team in the country.

No way. Not if Bama comes to play. If for some unfathomable reason we sleepwalk like 2 Qtrs against Lsux and most of the game against Johnny Foosball then yes UGA could give us problems. Otherwise no. Aaron Murray throws it to the other team when pressured and while he's mobile, he's no Manziel.

Georgia is better than LSU. We'll roll but I think it will be close. Aaron Murray can have a field day with our suspect secondary.

Completely disagree that UGA is better than LSU. Ask 100 head coaches who they'd rather face for a chance to go to Miami, at least 80% are saying Georgia.

Lets take care of the Iron bowl first

Lots of difference in those QBs and how they played vs and us and how they played the rest of the season. Tebow, Newton, and Manziel are all great QBs that played at a high level all season and all three of those guys either won or will win the Heisman. Yes....Manziel is a lock to win it this year or next.

On the other hand, Garcia and Mettenburgr were garbage QBs that suddenly played the game of their career vs us and sucked it up the rest of the time. Mettenburger seems to be improving though. He had some great throws yesterday.

So that leaves AM. I wouldn't call him garbage like Garcia but he's not been extremely impressive either. I don't think he has the tools of. The Heisman QBs that have beaten us. He's not gonna run over us, and if we can stop UGAS run game I don't see how he beats us with the pass. I know one thing......we need our DL to come alive and get some constant pressure on him. F the zone blitz. I'm gonna slit my wrist if I see one more obvious zone blitz where the qb sees it coming and simply throws the ball over the blitzing guys head to the open spot for a 10 yard gain or more.
