The line, especially in college ball, is within 3 points at most of what Vegas has the teams actually rated at 95% of the time. Right now they have Bama as 17 points better than MSU on a neutral field. They value BDS home field at anywhere from 2pts to 5pts depending on he season, which gets us at around 21. They've likely added another 2-3 pts in this case to draw MSU action, but the line is very close to what they'd have the actual score at if they released those sorts of predictions.
