What does "fify" mean?
IMO VT was terrible last year, especially for their standard. I expect they will not be much better next year.

Yes they were down last season but they will bea better team this season. Beamer is a good coach

Is Beamer a good coach or does he just have a great schedule every year? Go look at their W-L vs top 15 teams in the last 6 or 7 years... its worse than UGA! His last win against a team that finished in the top 10 was BC in 2007, who beat him during the season, then lost in the conf champ game.
I think he is a solid, safe coach. He would never last in the SEC, and for that we thank him!

Beamer is a fantastic coach who is very good at coaching fundamental, sound conservative football. He's a lot like Gene Stallings. He built VaTech from nothing to a national contender. The problems are twofold: One, Beamer is never going to recruit like CNS or several other SEC coaches so he has to do more with less. Second, they are going downhill just like FSU did after joining the lousy azzed ACC.
