I agree for the most part but you know LSU will have the athletes to compete. And, aside from the 2011 BCS game, Les usually has them at their best against us.

I think this is an example of us being blinded by history. We have to look at this year's LSU team, not the previous ones. Yes, they have competed well the last few years. But their talent level was dramatically better then. They haven't recruited as well the last few years, and now their talent and experience level has taken a huge step back with the flood of players leaving the program.

If you just go by history, Vandy should never win and the Barn should always go to a bowl. BUT when you look at what they are going to put on the field, perceptions MUST change.

LSU is going to take a big step back this year. They just don't have the horses. I count 4-5 losses on their schedule, including a blowout in T-town. JMO.

LSU always plays us hard and vice versa. I remember when we were totally outmanned in 2007 and we nearly beat their team that was loaded with talent and went on to win the BCS championship. Every year our game with them is a war no matter which venue it's played in. Also have to remember that some team will come out of nowhere and shock people. Last year it was Texas A&M. Ole Miss surprised me some too. Who knows who it will be this year ? Some teams will underachieve while one or two others jump up and surprise. It happens every year in the SEC.

Don't see a blowout. But Bama will win.
