Can't use nagging injuries as an excuse. Last time I checked football was a contact sport and your going to get hurt or injured. It's playing through the pain and producing that will get you PT. KN hasn't sustained an injury that should have prevented him from being consistent. To say his performance in the NCG surprised the coaches would be putting it mildly.
HT until you have had to deal with pain issues you have no idea how badly it can affect you & I'm not talking about an injury where you need surgery. I don't know what kind of problems Norwood has had to deal with but if he is battling pain that causes him not to sleep or pain pushing off it would affect his ability to play at a high level & that's not even taking into account the mental wear & tear pain can play on your mind. I was very happy the day Norwood committed & have been expecting him to play the way he did against LSU & hopefully he can have a injury/pain free year & show all of us what he has got.

Seems to me he produces every time we put him out there. I don't have to guess at what has kept Kevin from playing more b/c I know. This is not speculation from somebody that talked to somebody, etc. It has nothing to do with ability, work ethic, character, etc. b/c he has all of that in spades. It has everything to do with injuries keeping him out valuable offseason workouts, practice, etc. And I am not talking about a little bone bruise or anything like that, I'm talking about stuff that required surgery more than once.
And FWIW, we would not have been throwing difficult balls to Norwood against LSU if we did not think he was capable. It did not surprise them at all.

Norwood not being one of the three starters surprises me. He flashes some amazing talent, but he must have a consistency issue. Other wise you'd think he's be all american with the plays that he makes.
