Exactly. This is a prime example of reverse line movement. This means that the big or "sharp" money is on Tech. All Vegas cares about is trying to keep the money even on either side. Therefore, if the public is heavily in favor of one side (WV) and the line moves in favor of the other team (reverse), there may be fewer bettors on TT, but the amounts are even. Thus, the traditional line of thinking is that the big bets are on the opposite or "reverse" side. In this case, TT.
That being said, who was it that placed a single multi-million dollar bet on Michigan to open the season? Big money doesn't always mean smart or "sharp" money. Unless you have seen these teams play a good bit, stay away.
