Its Towson university from baltimore md. were it a lacross game LSU would have their hands full but it being a football game, that will not be the case lol.

With all the comments coming from people around the LSU program they may need an easy schedule. They are acting processed

TR can really help his draft position the faster he runs at the combine. Run anything below a 4.4 and he will be a top 5.

Hey Shane, I actually have an office in Towson & am friends with one of the coaches. I believe he said they get $600 K for going there & that game covers their entire budget for the year.
Towson was total Nubs until last season; then were a Top 10 FCS program. Glad to see someone else on the board knows his lax!

In the SEC, member teams play "difficult" and "easy" schedules every other year, meaning that they have their most difficult games either at home or away. Bama is on such a rotation, for example last year we were on the "easy" rotation, playing LSU, Arky & Tennessee (well, in the past they were tough anyway). This year we will be on the "difficult" cycle, playing these teams away. The SEC apparently does this so that it has a national contender each year. Bama won its two national championships while on its "easy" cycle.

LSU was on the "difficult" cycle last year and still managed to win the SEC and make the BCSCG game. This year they're on their "easy" rotation, having Bama, Miss. St., & USCe. at home and travelling to aTm, Aub. & Fla. Due to the new schedule additions caused by conference expansion, where they play Arky hasn't been determined yet.

Just because they play Towson (never heard of them either) doesn't mean they have a cupcake schedule overall. It's a pretty reasonable schedule. OP's and Jawa's posts above just don't stand to reason.

i will admit im not the biggest follower of lacross but i have a few friends who went to towson and i live in whitemarsh so im not far from there. i knew they had a solid team last year, but didnt realize they were top 10 in fcs. for small schools like towson these games are huge for them to keep their programs up and running. thats why it pisses me off when i hear espn bashing bama and other schools for scheduling these games.
