2003-2005 - QB Coach - Michigan State * coached Drew Stanton who set MSU records for yards, breaking another Nussmeier disciple Jeff Smoker's records. Smoker also held MSU records for completions and passing TDs in a season
2006-2007 - QB Coach - St Louis Rams * coached Marc Bulger who made the 2006 pro bowl * on the staff of Scott Linehan
2008 - OC - Fresno State * FS ranked 43rd in total offense, averaging 387 yds a game * FS was 66th in passing at 205 ypg and 32nd in rushing at 182 ypg * FS was 37th in scoring at 30 ppg
2009-present - OC/QB Coach - Washington * coached Top 10 pick Jake Locker, improving his accuracy and mechanics * in first season, UW doubled their scoring average from 13 to 26 ppg and improved offense by 110 ypg * 2010, UW balanced attack finished year with 2,238 yards rushing and 2,475 yards passing * See young QB Polk performance in Alamo Bowl
Downside - Sarkisian is the play caller at Washington, so how much does Nussmeier contribute? I am very intrigued by the possibility of the hire, however.
