They played better for 28 minutes in the 2nd half and that's it. The best team won tonight.

I wouldn't say our win was all skill. We WERE dominated, perhaps not the entire game but most of it. When was the last time we had a true freshman run 100+ yards on us? When was the last time somebody put up 430+ yards of offense against us? When was the last time somebody picked us apart on 3rd downs like that? When was the last time we went the entire second half with only 1 first down except for the final drive?

I'm saying be gracious in our win. Some folks here act like it was a birthright that we won. We escaped a close one on the road and we outta be gracious enough to realize that for one night the other team played better than we did, even if we did win.

Just a little disappointed we did't run the ball more,the o-line I fill had a good game. The line blocked well all night, xcept @ stay'n on some of the pass protection,letting the d-line to get there hands up too often. I agree w/another poster,had we ran the ball we would have kept the d off the field. What the hell, we beat the corndoggers & all is well. Roll Tide & Go BAMA !

Our past dominance has nothing to do with this game. Because we weren't as dominate as we usually are doesn't mean we got dominated.

It was a back and forth game. The difference is bama was better at finishing drives, NO FGS AT ALL!!! We played poorly, no doubt. Could u say we dominated the first half being up 14-3? Then they dominated the second half minus the last two minutes. However you split it, it was a close game between two good teams.

Is it because they ran well bc we had more rushing yards. Mett played well beyond himself and threw a bunch of perfect balls. Kudos to him. But when it counted most he couldn't do the same thing that aj had just done.

I wish the we got dominated for 4 quarters BS would stop. Tale of two halves, period. While they were able to move the ball in the first half, they were only able to score 3 pts. On 4 drives last night, we moved the ball methodically and came away with 21 pts and 1 fumble. They had a chance to put us away, JUST LIKE WE HAD A CHANCE TO PUT THEM AWAY AND FUMBLED THE BALL.

Our Defense was on the field for long periods of time in the second half and was getting it handed to them. But guess what? They bowed up, and made a stand when it counted. Championship teams find a way on their worst day. Lsu had chances just like we did to end this game. They didn't take advantage of it and we did....period.

I am fine with the "we got dominated for four quarters talk" because...

1. It's not true.
2. It gives Saban motivational leverage.

but after watching the tape ...

if AJ would have simply hit 50 % of his easy pass attempts (to open WR's) especially on third down, the game would have went entirely different
both on offense and defense. it could have easily been just another ho-hum 27-10 night.

# 5 LSU played their A game, we didnt, and yet it still wasnt enough for the Tigers and Less Miles to get a W.

reguardless the only thing that matters now is getting ready for A&M.

I don't think they played a better game than us, over all. I would say that the first half was ours. I haven't looked at the first half stats, but we looked pretty good.

The third quarter is what always worries me this year. We play terrible in the third quarter. They won MOST of the fourth quarter as well, but could not finish.

I don't call 139 yards rushing and less than 3 ypc, running it down our throats.

They dominated us on 3rd down with the passing game.
