I think he will be about what Chizik was in season ones and three. Which is average in the SEC. He has been a college head coach for one year at a school that ran the same O and had some decent players coming back and won a lot the year before, so it was the perfect storm for everyone to say he is a winner. Just cause you won a notional champ as an assistant doesn't make you a winner it makes you apart of a winning team. While at Tulsa it's not like the spread was a new thing for them either. Winners are proven over time and one year as a head coach isn't proving anything.

I wasn't able to watch the whole video but could someone tell me if they showed highlights of the sack race that followed the tug-of-war? Barners are so cute sometimes.

I liked the comments; "No more towel waving or chest bumping, all business and coaching". They are conveniently forgetting that it was the towel waving and chest bumping that got them the playas to luck into their NC in the first place.

Gus is so inspirational, I can understand why kids (with no other reasonable options) choose to play for him....

Gus was a good hire indeed for auburn. His offensive philosophy (smoke &mirrors) was very successful at first but its not going to ever win championships. He will return auburn to the middle of the pack again which is great for them after this past season.

a few things I noticed:

If we ever get in a towel tug of war with them, I like their chances....trooper taught them the ways of the towel...

Cam will be a good one next year....
