For the first time since he underwent knee surgery Alabama freshman Dee Hart worked some with the running backs during the individual-drill portion of Wednesday’s practice.

Unless Trent AND Lacy goes down, very little chance of Hart playing this year, even in the title game.

3 straight practices, 3 straight practice reports appear to be slightly identically to the previous ones. I know its not you guys' fault for giving these types reports so I will conclude by saying I hope we scrap these reports from practice on here because its not like they are letting you guys see anything worth reporting in the first place. You guys do a great job with what you got to work with during the season so I appreciate what you do. Its gotta be a little frustrating to see 15 minutes of whatever they want you to see, regardless if its the same as the previous days..I sympathize totally. Keep up the good work!

I actually love the reports because they give me a feel for how injured players are progressing. You didn't want to know Dee did some things with the other backs today? That's a huge step, and I'm thankful for the staff letting us know about it.

I think staff would agree with me at how limited they are in giving reports in practice. I posted above how much I appreciate what they do for what they have to work with. I wasnt knocking the reports, in fact I was praising the good job that they do.

I enjoy it. Its an update throughout the week during football season. If something major happened it would be in the report. Dont mind it being it being the same each day because we win on Saturdays. No news is good news, You find a way to report something that these professionals cant and start your own site. Good luck sitting in the press conference asking Saban questions. I might pay to watch.

I tore my ACL about a month after Dee did, and I am truly incredulous as to how quickly he is rehabbing. I understand that he was in slightly better condition before his injury than i was/am (g), but I am nowhere near taking snaps in a simulated practice. I really hope he gets back to 100%, he could be another in the growing list of amazing backs at Bama.
