It is a play on when George W. Bush was elected over Gore. Someone made a sticker that simply said "W The President" in the same fashion with the large W and the writing underneath. A TON of people in the South had those on the back of their vehicles.
When Shula was here, someone did a crimson "S The Coach" sticker and it sold really well. A lot of people were glad Saban was hired because they could keep the sticker. There are a ton of those stickers on vehicles all over Alabama and surrounding states sported by Bama fans.
Now the stupid barners are trying to diminish the fact that Bama is on top of college football by saying that it is Saban, not Alabama that is doing well. Typical crap.

It might have made a little more common sense if they had printed those right after Saban was hired because that's the only time I ever saw those "S" stickers anyway. It's had to be at least 8 years since the "W" decals were out .... They're barner thinking is cuttin edge ain't it!!
