If ND wins Saturday and we take care of business these next two weeks a very interesting situation will arise. On January 7, 2013 my wife and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Alabama will be playing ND for the National Championship. The same thing happened 3 years ago (Jan. 7, 2010) against Texas. But that was only anniversary #27 so while I watched the game (there was no doubt what I would do) my wife went shopping (she loves Bama but gets too nervous watching the games). But for #30 - what to do?

My wife of 31 years and I vacation annually on South Beach and have for as long as I can remember. Miami is the fashion headquarters of the world and I can assure you it is a woman's shopping fantasy. It's pretty, nostalgic and you cannot possibly be there long enough to enjoy all the great restaurants! Fly in Saturday and home Tuesday. You'll have a blast; she'll have a blast and you'll come home with your 15th NC and about $10,000 light. Worth every penny!
