...but today they did something Alabama hasn't done since 1990: win in Vanderbilt's Memorial Gymnasium.
And before you say it, no, this isn't a great Vandy team. Still, I've seen better UA teams lose to worse VU teams up there.
In coming back from an eight-point halftime deficit, Anthony Grant and his team gave you a reason to keep watching. As hard as it has been on the eyes at times, this season still has a pulse. And that's all that really matters.

Coach Grant has broken the curse. Time to start owning the Dores like old days.
I was really happy to see that this Bama team did not give up. They kept fighting until they got the win. RTR!
The schedule sets up for us to go on a run and get some momentum. Today was a good win. Now, lets go get another road win at Auburn.
Great post! Anthony Grant can definitely coach. Not many teams would have won that game being down 11 with about 7 minutes to play. We have won several games this year in the 2nd half due to the kid's ability to keep their mental discipline late in the game.
That being said, we are just a little short on skill and talent right now. It will be difficult to make the tourney this year, but if we will just hang with the program a few more years we will see a consistent winner. Just need a couple of deep recruiting classes to put us over the edge.
Dead on TR! It's gets ugly, they can't make a basket, can't get a call, seems like no hope, but they keep fighting! The last few years we would have found a way to lose these last two games.
Lacey was large, but UA doesn't win without Steele's (unexpected) offensive production. Three 3s for Steele? Yeah, I saw that coming.
The Dynasty is Here!
Big win today. Think if we could have held on to wins @ Cincy and UT and beat Mercer and Tulane @ home like we should have. We could easily be 18-3 without a post presence.
Agree 100%. Finishing on an 18-3 run is impressive. Nice to see Andrew finish his career as the leader of the team. Saw him at the Bama girls game last Sunday. He was there with Trevor R. Andrew lit up the place when he walked in.
