He doesn't have a problem. He just loves it. They hammer down some beer in the locker room after every practice. Watch for red solo cups at his press conferences. I know one of his former DC's. He is one helluva coach though.

I guess im old school but drinking a beer after practice is not a big deal for me. I drink a beer when I get home from work all the time.

Do you drink beer at press conferences? Get hammered at work? I'm all for having a cold one after work. I'll leave it at that.

Bama would have had a good coach past his prime, won a few games but not what CNS has established in Tuscaloosa.

We would win in spite of the coach. At least that is what he stated about CNS and I am sure that in his mind he is as good.

We would probably be breaking in a new coach. At the time CSS was being mentioned, right prior to and after Shula, he wasn't a viable option. Mainly because he was no longer as dedicated to the job as he once was. It wouldn't be fair to compare what he might have accomplished here versus what CNS has done. He would have been successful but not dominant and the recruiting would be much different. Coaching at UA is a much different animal and we hit the perfect storm with CNS. Sure, coaches can come in and the Bama program will make them successful but, can they then sustain their own success. CNS has a drive and his own process to succeed. CNS wants to win the NC every year and if his team isn't in the running at the end of the year then to him, its a failure. CNS has just now got the groundwork laid for his legacy. CSS wants to be good but he has already secured his legacy and he is satisfied with it.
