Looks like the magic number since 09 is actually 20. In an eery coincidence, every loss in 10 was on the receiving end of exactly 20 passes (in the case of LSU, 13 for Jefferson, 7 for Lee). Jefferson (9) and Lee (7) combined for 16 last year. 22 comes from 08 when Tebow threw that many. Going back to 08, we are 30-1 when opponents throw 23 or more times (exception being Utah, with 41 passes) and 24-5 when they throw 22 or fewer.
