The Chiefs were blowing smoke with all the other options and went and picked a second team confrence player from Memphis who was dominated by 6'-260lb lineman in college. How they hell do they think all of a sudden he is going to be able to handle a 6'5" 320 pounder? What a waste... God help us here in KC... the Royals suck, the Chiefs are an effort in futility and we have to get pumped up about a 7-1 MLS Soccer team.

No run support skills, too small to do anything but rush the passer, just an absolutely strange pick with all the DE's that were left on the board. Another classic example of a guy running in the 4.4's and getting draft about a 1 round to 1 and a half rounds too soon.

Any team that needed a pass rusher and/or defensive stud that passed on Upshaw was the dumbest pick in the draft.

Obviously, Trent will be a STUD in the league and I love him as a player, but Cleveland had a horrible 1st round. No way should they have given up that many picks to move up one spot. Tampa Bay was not going move up; that was just a smoke screen by Minnesota to get Cleveland interested because they knew Cleveland would not take Kalil. And Weeden was a terrible pick at 22. Nobody else wanted him in the 1st and they could have traded down and at least gotten an extra late round pick or 2 and gotten the same player. Weeden is limited just like McCoy is and will not be a strong NFL player. Terrible draft so far!

Too many bad picks in this draft to pick just one. Titans, Seasquawks, Weeden, Vikings, KC etc etc etc. Bidness as usual in the NFL where they would not know a good football if he walked up and kicked them.

Because other teams were going to trade up to the three spot to grab him away from Cleveland.
