I'd say at least 80% he returns in 2013. Quarterbacks just don't go early like virtually every other position these days. McCarron simply isn't some Andrew Luck type prospect that is a no brainer top draft pick. He isn't going to put up huge numbers in our system, and seems smart enough to realize that 3 years as a starter with multiple national championships is going to make him a much bigger sell later than sooner.

The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
He's going to come back. Regardless of the season he has (unless he just plain out balls and pulls off a Sam Bradford/Andrew Luck type season) he'll be the #5 QB at best (Barkley, Wilson, Murray, and Geno Smith). He's still probably behind a few others as well (as much as it pains me Tyler Bray's tools may be more nfl-agreeable, Landry Jones, Price from Washington, Renner from UNC, and theres always a MAC/Div II guy that comes out of nowhere and ends up in the top-8 QBs).
In 2013, after his senior year, if he progresses as expected, he has a shot at being the #1 QB taken which can sometimes translate to #1 overall. Especially with 1 more year in the S&C program since he's still on the skinny side and we've already seen him put on 30+ pounds over the past 3 years. 1 more year and he could be right where NFL guys want him size wise at about 225lbs.
