First game was the first game in 1967. We played Florida St. The game was a tie.....37 - 37. Quite a site for a 10 yr. old boy from a small town. I remember there was a huge crowd outside the stadium, the open end part then, wanting tickets. Im sure it was a bleedover from should have won the national championship in "66 when we were robbed.
Alabama vs BYU in 1998 at Bryant Denney stadium. Shaun Alexander goes for 5 touchdowns! I was 14 and it was amazing!

love hearing stories like these.
My dad took me to see the 1962 Alabama-Vanderbilt game on a Saturday night at Legion Field. Joe Namath was a sophomore and Alabama won 17-7 if I'm not mistaken.
My dad took me to the Alabama-Auburn game in 1965. I was five years old. Roll Tide!
1967, probably Vandy, my grandmother became a house-mother at Sigma Chi, She got season tickets and took me to all the home games and took me on a trip to the bowl games for Christmas each year. She retired the year I started school at UA, 1975. What fun we had, I miss her.
My first game was 1990 vs. Cincinatti. My aunts took me.
Parents took me to Denny Stadium to watch Alabama and Houston in 1971. Houston had a running back by the name of Robert Newhouse who played many years with the Dallas Cowboys.
1993 Arkansas game. Saw Antonio Langham pick off a pass and Bama won BIG. It was for my 11th birthday and my old man took me after I had been begging him to go to a game for like 2 or 3 years.
