Why would there be any need to denigrate their accomplishments? This isn't Auburn we're talking about......Michigan is a great university with great tradition and is a cornerstone program in college football. I hope our fan base stays away from stuff like this.

It was a senseless and malicious act, given that the defending UA students had retreated east to the Hurricane Creek Bridge, and the War was to end 4 days later at Appomattox Court House.
Are we to dismiss this Michigan/Yankee - inflicted holocaust at our beloved University, as if it never happened? Not me.

It would have been a truly amazing feat for us to average 6 wins a year from 1879-1892, since teams only played a handful of games a year back then.
Sorry, but Michigan's wins are legit. FYI, for that time period Michigan played 55 total games (so 4 games a year) winning 34.
