Which did you prefer playing offense or defense

In both basketball and football, I loved defense. I played DE in football and forward/center and always loved a good fight for the ball. I liked to be the heat seeking missile to go and jar the ball outta the ball carriers grip

Imho unless I can block shots & rebound. I hated playing defense in basketball . Since I wasn't tall enough to do either very well. I focused on dribbling/passing/shooting.

Got to play both offense and defense in one game in high school. If I had it to do all over again, I'd play on the defensive side of the ball.Everyone shares in the glory when a stop is made.

Only played basketball, but I still love playing defense and frustrating the other team.

What little basketball I played I was more of a spot-up shooter.
But in Football nothing better than playing defense IMO.
