Coach Bryant...RTR

I have fuzzy memories of Curry although, I didn't really understand the game yet (some say I still don't). I have this memory as a small child years before, getting a haircut. The barber had a poster on the wall of Coach Bryant on a cloud looking down on Perkins. He took the time to explain the significance of Coach Bryant, the tradition of our program, and the job Perkins was tasked with, but I have no memory of him on the sideline. I remember the Stallings era well.

I was born in '84. I only remember Stallings and Saban in my lifetime. Have we had others?

Yep...and I just threw up in my mouth a little.

my brother was in school when bryant came to town. had about 6 friends and or frat brothers that were on the team coaced by ears whitworth. i was 12 and brother tells of when bryant took the field and began coaching this bunch of slackers that during one practice session he was obviously trying to weed them out.several players started to climb the fence to get the heck out! said it was a funny but brutal site!! Loved the man!!
