"The Lord just wasn't with us, Coach." "The Lord," grumbled Bryant, "expects you to block and tackle." Rick Bragg, August 8, 2012

  • L foster played running back at minor around 95. Also the quarterback for vigor in 97. I think his first name was Damien I can't remember. He was unreal. The team was ok. They were ranked nationally when we played them, but it was completely because of him.

Monte Williams broke most of Runt's records at Commerce around 1998-2001. He was pretty slippery.

    Love these threads BTW.

Yep,forgot about him.I don't think he made it to college either.

IF IT FEELS GOOD,YOU AIN'T DOING IT RIGHT!

  • Chad Jackson dude was unreal in high school. All Schools would double team him and some would triple team him and he would still come down with it. One year in the play offs at the very end of the game John Parker Wilson throw the ball up to him on the last play and he caught a pass over like 4 people to send Hoover to the championship it was nuts. He recorded 202 receptions for 3,553 yards and forty touchdowns, pass and ran for twelve more touchdowns. He was in my freshman science class when he was a senior he was actual pretty high on Bama then Franchione did all that crap to us and he went on to Florida to set records.
