He is signing in like a week. He's participating in a team USA baseball event Wednesday. He couldn't wait until after the baseball draft to sign. LOI have to be in by a certain date (can't remember that date but I think it's in march/April)

Not coming to bama so I do not care if he signs next week or next year. Good luck to him, but I think his future is in baseball. You cannot be a top flite D1 qb while devoting a lot of time to baseball.

Not that it matters, or helps us with Winston, but this is not true. A recruit does NOT have to sign a LOI by a certain time per NCAA guidelines. In fact, there is nothing in place making a signed LOI at all requisite.

Thanks. The only reason I remember it was from a few years ago during Terrell pryers recruitment. He went way passed signing day and I thought I remembered some talking head saying that he announced on the last day of the signing period.
