Wonder how the boogs are feeling tonight about losing Diggs.

  • Top Maryland football recruit offers up incredibly offensive Jeremy Lin tweet | Prep Rally - Yahoo! Sports

Read 'Top Maryland football recruit offers up incredibly offensive Jeremy Lin tweet' from our blog Prep Rally on Yahoo! Sports. One would think that Stefon Diggs would be well versed in the threat posed by unchecked social media postings. However, as this rather offensive Tweet about Jeremy Lin dug up by Larry Brown Sports proves, one would be wrong to give Diggs the benefit of that doubt. Continue reading →

  • That's actually the least racist Lin joke i saw on that page. The Jason Witlock tweet was incredibly racist, but also funny as hell.

edit: it didn't link on the damn mobile site. Here it is:

"Some Lucky Lady in NYC is gonna feel a couple inches of pain tonight."

The ESPN headline is just to ridiculous to believe it was intentional. Though i thought the expression was a "kink in the armor," not what they wrote.

  • You know, it's funny, but in all the (admittedly, pretty limited) coverage of Diggs I've seen, the only writers who ever mentioned auburn were on auburn sites.

According to auburn writers at some point they have lead for every single recruit in the country the past 3 years.

You're right--it's "kink in the armor"--our national media can't even get that right as well as trying to sensationalize everything to make a "mountain out of a molehill" for ratings sake. The more they feed the fire, the worse the fire gets. It's just like the inadvertent, yet stupid, burning of the Koran books by the guys in theater. It was accidental--even Pres Obama said that in his apology--but as long as these people continue to riot over it, they know they will be on world-wide CNN and US media. So that knowledge causes them to riot even more, and now killing Americans and other Afghans because of this accidental burning. Where are the moderates speaking out saying to kill even "infidels" over this accident is against the teachings of the Koran? It's total insanity and the media just keeps feeding the fire by never mentioning it was not intentional or planned in 9 out 10 broadcasts. Sorry for the rant OT from Bama!!

Yes, they did get it right. You didn't. Armor gets chinks. Chains get kinks.

"A Tabard was not solely used for identification of factions on the battlefield. Armor was expensive and hard to craft. It was easier by far to repair armor damaged in battle. However damaged armor even repaired was not as good as new hence the term "Chinks" Chinks in the armor were damaged areas that had been repaired and a obvious target of a enemy. It was much cheaper to fashion a tabard that covered the armor hiding the "Chinks" and reducing the wearer as a easy target."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabard

"Because of the connection method, the chain can swivel on itself unrestrictedly, which helps prevent kinking."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_chain

Just because someone may have always heard "kink in the armor" all their lives, it doesn't make it any more correct than "could of" instead of "could've" or "alot" instead of "a lot".

This whole country has shut their brains off and is depending on the media and SNL to inform them of what they should think.

Well, maybe not the whole country. There are a few that refuse to buy into the propaganda that swells over TV but there seem to be fewer and fewer. If that statement offends you then you are a panty waist Nancy. Come on and grow a pair. Would you really be offended by that if one of your buddies said it?
