  • Could you repost your basketball recruiting info without using the ESPN link. I really appreciate the information you and anyone else provides regarding basketball recruiting. Thank you for your time and effort. RTR!!!

The question is not about how much you know, it's how much of what you know do you apply?

  • Here you go SabanNation; it was an intersting article on ESPN breaking down the enitre SEC hoops recruiting for 2013, for us, the article on mentioned names everyone on this board is familiar with listing only these following prospects: PF Jerrell Martin from Baton Rouge, LA; PG Anthony "Cat" Barber from Hampton, VA; Combo F Tyler Roberson from Roselle, NJ; and PG Jaren Sina, from Gladstone, NJ.

However, the ESPN article failed to name many other prospects we are after according to other recruiting articles. Missing were:

Centers: Antravious Simmons from Miami, FL & Damien Jones, from Baton Rouge, LA.
Point Guards: Kendal Harris, Richardson, TX.
Small Forward: Greg McClinton, Chatam, VA.
Shooting Guard: Xavier Rathan-Mayes, Toronto, Canada/Huntington, WVa.
Combo Guard: Sam Singer, Miami, FL.

CAG has a great start to the class with PF Jimmie Taylor and combo F Shannon Hale. Let's hope CAG can land two more for the early signing period and we won't have to go through the spring drama that we did the last two years. Hopefuly, this was the type of info, you were looking for. RTR!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for bwolff. Looks like a great group of players. I'm hoping we land a big time point guard in this class, hopefully Sina. Love to hear more about these recruits and any others that you may know. If anyone else has additional info, please post. Thanks for reposting this. RTR!!!

Thanks man. Will have to read up on these kids. Sounds like a great start. Does anyone here know which is the better PG prospect, Barber or Sina?

Barber is a top 15 nation player, while Sina is between the 75 to 100 range. RTR!!!
