I'm just curious what kind of upgrades we could need. After all, we already have the best of everything. How could our facilities be made better?

I will say this...I think the endzone scoreboards (not the video boards) at BDS are bad. Skinny numbers and lettering, info like down, distance, timeouts, and score scattered in such a way that sometimes you have to scan the board to find it. Look at Neyland's in contrast, for example. If they wanted to make an improvement at BDS, that's where I'd start.

If we sit while others catch up, we lose the advantage. Staying aggressive and constantly improving makes those who wish to try work that much harder and use that many resources to keep up. That only improves the overall product. It's good economics.

BUT I was referring to any similar ideas on a football complex, indoor practice facility, etc, etc.

we woke up one day and we were way behind in the facilities dept in the 90's......i would rather we stay ahead of the game and capitalize on our programs success under Saban.......not get complacent......and capitalize on Mal's continual improvements with further upgrades

the UT's, UF's, UGA's, LSU's of the world will not sit idle and not dedicate $$$$$ to continual improvemnets......Bama shouldn't either

Their football stadium qualifies as "nice" but is nowhere close to Bryant-Denny or even The Swamp. Bud Walton Arena and the baseball stadium, on the other hand? WOW. By the way, I am hearing that that a new football complex is in the works but some things about renovation of the indoor facility is up in the air, one of which being relocation of an existing varsity sport to make room for another. Doubt if that happens, but.....

The weight room, etc at the Football building is 9 yrs old and UA is looking to expand and upgrade it, visiting new facilities at Ok St and USC, etc.

i personally think the locker room in the stadium could use a makeover......its pretty 80"s looking

I'd like to see swimming/diving get a new facility close to the rec center and then build a new indoor football facility in that area. Nebraska has 2 indoor facilities. Not sure how they use them but they built a more modern facility a few years ago. Michigan has a nice indoor facility that's big enough to kick in. With that said, baseball should have top priority right now.
