leaving Trent off a Heisman vote?, why

  • would a voter leave Trent or any of the top contenders off their ballot? other than just to be a total @ss. Everyone who cast a vote for the Heisman should have to provide thier vote public and also provide an email address. Its not sour grapes, but whats right is right. You know some of these voters dont like certain teams and have other agendas. I am ok with a biased opinion, but by leaving off top contenders on a Heisman vote is just plain cheap and not very professional, but then again, half of the media out there are total idiots... sorry for the rant. I have no problem with RG3 winning, he is a great player, but so is TR. Luck has not had a great year and the Badger was suspended for smoking weed, great role model there for kids. Hell with it, lets just go kick some ass in NOLA and piss everyone off. The Bama hate is at an all time high. BAMA against the world, I like it....... as if we did not need anymore motivation.

  • Yes. I've already read about two ballots that don't have him on them at all. I saw one from a writer here at 247 that was RG3, Luck, and Barkley, in that order. Dan Patrick's was the same but Mathieu instead of Barkley...and he might as well have flipped the bird at Trent because he revealed it right after concluding an interview with him.

I think RG3 wins it. Trent will be second or third. They got the ammo they needed: a good performance against a defense with a pulse (Texas).
